Deputies Depart For Canada

NASSAU, Bahamas — In keeping with the mandate of the Government of The Bahamas and Prison Administration to train all officers in 21st Century Best Practices, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons, Bernardette Thompson–Murray and Doan Cleare departed The Bahamas on Thursday, 27 February 2014, to undergo a three months Intensive Exchange Training Programme between Canada and The Bahamas.

During the three months both Deputy Superintendent of Prisons are expected to be employed in Canada Correctional Services Institutions, as a part of their training.

They are expected to return to The Bahamas in June 2014.
